The GEO Report: February 28, 2012 Last of February Black Crappie Along the Chicago River

Headed out after work today in hopes of angling a large Mouth bass which has cleverly eluded me this past winter with only one to show for 12 outings, All outings using lures capable of catching Bass. With a new game plan in mind changes are imminent. In the Mean time this evening I threw Both hard and soft Minnow Baits, as well as Spinner baits even tried mimicking crayfish with a variety of artificials. I did manage a few Crappie that where eager enough to chomp down my 3" soft bodied shad lure. Tomorrows a new Day, Month Even. :)

Please Don't Litter
Please catch and Release

Happy Fishing!
